Over the next few weeks, we will launch Polimec, the decentralized community-driven funding protocol for Web3! π
The launch process will be stretching over several weeks, allowing for a gradual implementation of functionalities.
Here is what you need to know:
- Block Production β After recently securing parachain #51, Polimec is now producing blocks. This pivotal moment clears the way to enable the step-by-step go-live of functionalities on Polimec.
- Token Generation Event (TGE) β The Polimec native token (PLMC) will be allocated to token holders. This is the start of vesting β all tokens are untransferable until governance decides to enable transfers on chain (see Step 6. below).
- Staking Enabled β PLMC holders will be able to stake their tokens with the first network collators going live.
- Governance Enabled β With the activation of governance, every token holder gets a say in the trajectory of Polimec. Governance participation will be crucial to initiate the next two milestones.
- Sudo Removal β To keep the commitment of true decentralization, the removal of sudo access and, therefore, handing over full control of the protocol to the community will be the basis of a governance vote.
- Transferability Enabled β There will be a governance vote to enable the full transferability of PLMC tokens.
- App Live β The launch of the Polimec app allows users to connect to Polimec with their KYC/Deloitte Credential, which symbolizes the start of the fundraising journey for project issuers and participants.
- First Fundraise β Polimec will be open for the first project issuers to structure their fundraise and submit their funding applications.
